Düsseldorf offers many sights that you absolutely must capture photographically for Instagram, because Düsseldorf is considered the most beautiful city on the Rhine.
At Stage47
We are Stage47, a hotel in Düsseldorf near the main railway station. You shouldn’t forget our hotel in your photos. We also have what it takes to be seen on your Instagram posts. Feel free to tag us in your photos! @thestage_47
Entrance
Our entrance area alone is worth a photo from the outside. The building was constructed in the early 1900s and rebuilt after the Second World War in 1951. The famous ‘Atelier’ cinema and the ‘Savoy’ theatre were then built. The right-hand side of the building was used as a hotel in 2000 and since 2003 it has been the Stage47 theatre. This theatre-like charm of the building can still be felt today, even in photos.
The different rooms
Each of our rooms is dedicated to a famous person and these artists are immortalised on large posters. It’s also great to take a photo for Instagram in front of these pictures.
In Düsseldorf
Some spots are in the immediate vicinity of our hotel. For some of them, however, you have to use public transport, but that shouldn’t be a problem from our hotel, as we are only an 8-minute walk from Düsseldorf Central Station.
Rhine embankment promenade and Rhine Tower
The Rhine embankment promenade offers space for beautiful photos in front of the Rhine. Depending on where you stand on the banks of the Rhine, you can use the Düsseldorf skyline as a backdrop for your picture. You can also take a nice walk along the Rhine here.
The Rhine Tower offers an even better view of the Rhine. The Rhine Tower is a television tower in the state capital of Düsseldorf. It is 240.5 metres high, making it the tallest building in Düsseldorf. At a height of 172.5 metres is the QOMO restaurant, which rotates once around its own axis in 72 minutes. The seats are located directly at the window front. Below this, at a height of 168 metres, is the M168 viewing platform with a snack bar and event areas. From here you can look out over the whole of Düsseldorf and on a good day you can even see Cologne Cathedral. Admission for adults is €12.50.
Königsallee
Königsallee, also known as ‘KÖ’, is actually known as a shopping street, but it can also serve as the backdrop for your next Instagram post. Because the moat in the middle of the KÖ with its three bridges and many trees gives your pictures an enchanted touch.
Japanese garden
As you stroll through the Japanese garden, you have the opportunity to unwind and take some great photos. The garden is 5000 square metres in size and consists of pine trees and Japanese fan maples, as well as ponds, stone lanterns and much more. The park is located in the north-western part of the Nordpark.
Benrath Palace
Benrath Palace was built between 1755 and 1771 by order of Karl Theodor von der Pfalz and is a former residence of the Electors of the Palatinate. The palace park can be visited free of charge every year and offers space for wonderful photos. Admission to the palace costs around €10-13. You can take photos in the palace, but only without a flash. It is even possible to book a photo shoot in the castle for €300 for 90 minutes.
Classic Remise Düsseldorf
The Classic Remise Düsseldorf is located in a listed and lovingly restored roundhouse and opened in 2006. Classic cars are exhibited here and visitors are given an insight into the service and restoration workshops. The valuable historical and classic vehicles are presented in glass storage boxes. There is also a restaurant and space for events. Admission is free of charge. For car fans in particular, this is a great opportunity to post a few car posts on Instagram.
Düsseldorf Old Town
Düsseldorf’s Old Town is also known as ‘the longest bar in the world’, even though it only stretches over half a square kilometre. This is because the Old Town consists of around 260 pubs, bars and restaurants. The main beer on offer here is the famous Düsseldorf Altbier, which is still traditionally brewed in the breweries. Why not have your photo taken with an Altbier? In addition to all the breweries and restaurants, there are other sights such as St Lambert’s Basilica, the castle tower on Burgplatz, the historic town hall and much more. Everything is perfect for your next Instagram post. The Old Town is located between Heinrich-Heine-Allee, Hofgarten, Rheinpromenade and Carlstadt.
