Urban Priol was born in Aschaffenburg and began a teaching degree with English, Russian and History after graduating from high school. He dropped out and became a co-founder of the cabaret School cookery mill in Obernburg instead.<\/p>\n<p>He is also a member of the cabaret in the Hofgarten and member of the anti-globalization network Attac. The first stage performances Priol had were in 1982 already. His first television series was called &#8220;Everything Must Go&#8221;. Nearly seven years Urban Priol presented a political cabaret show called &#8220;Neues aus der Anstalt&#8221;. Since 2002 Priol presented the satirical annual review TILT! as a tour program every December.
