(born on October 13th 1960) Pe Werner is a German, composer, lyricist, author and cabaret artist residing in Cologne. She has already started to recite Wilhelm Busch’s poets at 3 years old, later she played at the youth stage of her school and started from the age of 16 to compose songs. 1991, she had her nationwide musical breakthrough. She got the gold record for “Kribbeln im Bauch” and was honoured with two Echos. Her first book was called “Mehr als Kribbeln im Bauch”.
Pe Werner has been very successful as a composer and writes for successful German entertainers, for example Barbara Schöneberger and Bernd Stelter. The often called sang poetess engages the Cologne AIDS-Hilfe since 2002.
