(born on April 18th 1970) Esther Schweins is a German actress and comedienne who became known for her appearances in a TV broadcast on RTL.

She attended the Westfälische Theaterschule in Bochum for one year. Here they predicted her no great future, so she worked for little money in the Bavaria Film Park in Bottrop. Then she stood a few times on stage before she was engaged for “RTL Samstagnacht”.

The comedy series has been closed in 1998. Since then, Schweins played leading and supporting roles in numerous films and television productions. From 2002 to 2011 she hosted for ZDF and 3sat for the magazine programs foyer and theatre scenery.
