(born on May 14th 1961) Urban Priol is a comedian from Obernburg am Main. Urban Priol was born in Aschaffenburg and began a teaching degree with English, Russian and History after graduating from high school. He dropped out and became a co-founder of the cabaret School cookery mill in Obernburg instead.

He is also a member of the cabaret in the Hofgarten and member of the anti-globalization network Attac. The first stage performances Priol had were in 1982 already. His first television series was called “Everything Must Go”. Nearly seven years Urban Priol presented a political cabaret show called “Neues aus der Anstalt”. Since 2002 Priol presented the satirical annual review TILT! as a tour program every December. This has been broadcasted since 2011 on ZDF.
